Google CEO visited MolenGeek last Monday.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai visited MolenGeek, a coworking space for young Brussels entrepreneurs, last Monday. He announced a grant of €200,000 to the coding school of the Molenbeek-based association.
Google has supported MolenGeek since its inception in 2015. This new aid will be spent on the start-up incubator and training programs which will offer people of different backgrounds access to employment. The financial support will also be used to advance the subject of Artificial Intelligence.
Among MolenGeek graduates, 93% have either founded a start-up or found a job in the digital industry, according to the association. “This support from Google will allow us to continue to offer a way for the young generation to invest in themselves,” said co-founder Ibrahim Ouassari.
